And the winner is....Dodge Challenger!

SVG Fans have spoken...their favorite vehicle is the Dodge Challenger!

First, we'd like to say thank you to all of the loyal SVG Fans who've taken the time to vote over the past week for their favorite vehicles! It's always a pleasure to interact with former, current, and future customers and friends!

Let's take a look at why the Challenger has won the hearts of so many SVG customers. We wondered if it was due to nostalgia, considering that the current incarnation of the Challenger takes heavy styling cues from the original version that debuted in the 1970's. A few of our customers did state that nostalgia played a part in their vote, but the overwhelming majority of fans we surveyed cited horsepower and fun as the number one reason they love the Challenger.

Horsepower and fun. We agree. The Dodge Challenger DOES offer both. We think the true beauty of the Challenger lies in the fact that there's a version of this car that suits the needs of just about anyone.

There are few vehicles on the market that can offer such a wide range of packages to meet nearly any budget.  For example, those who want the reliability and thrill of a brand new car can get into a 2019 Challenger SXT starting at $27,845. According to Experian, one of the top three credit rating services, the average cost for a new car in the United States is $34,000. That means with the Challenger, you can be in a new ride for $6000 less than the average American spends.

The base model Challenger comes with an extremely respectable 305 horsepower. This is nothing to sneeze at. With an ability to get up to 23 mpg and seating for 5, the Challenger SXT is an economical and practical choice for those who love the way the Challenger looks.

For those who are looking for a greater thrill, the R/T model has 375 hp. Moving the needle up a bit further, you find the R/T Scat Pack features a whopping 485 hp! The average gear head will agree, 485 hp makes for one extremely powerful daily driver.

Serious performance enthusiasts may opt for the SRT Hellcat. The Hellcat is a legend in its own time. This beastly vehicle has consistently been a favorite of those with 93 octane in their veins since its inception. Boasting a massive 717 hp, the Hellcat has is just as capable on the street as it is on the track.

The horsepower doesn't top out at 717, though. Believe it or not, you can get even MORE horsepower in a Challenger. It can be found in the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. Featuring an unearthly 797 horsepower, the Redeye can compete with just about anything else on the strip or the street. The Redeye is pure adrenaline in the form of a vehicle.

SVG Fans said the Challenger is fun. The astoundingly massive horsepower makes the car fun, but you also told us you love the fact that the Challenger is available in some very non-traditional paint colors. It's true -- the Challenger's list of available exterior colors leaves no doubt that Dodge designers had nostalgia on their minds. The 2019 Challenger is available in a wide variety of colors including Plum Crazy and Go Mango. This is a direct throwback to the 1970's color options which featured your choice of Light Blue Metallic, Bright Blue Metallic, Dark Blue Metallic, Bright Red, Light Green Metallic, Dark Green Metallic, Dark Burnt Orange Metallic, Beige, Dark Tan Metallic, black, white, cream, Light Gold Metallic, Plum Crazy, Go-Mango, sublime, banana, Hemi Orange, Green Go, Panther Pink and Silver Poly.
