Avenir Luxury Features Available in the 2019 Buick Regal

Buick has recognized a need for vehicles with luxury features and appeal with an affordable price. To meet that need, they introduced the top-tier Avenir trim line. The trim package has been added to Enclave, LaCrosse, and the GL8 model which is available in China only. For 2019, the Buick Regal has received the well-received trim package as well.

According to Buick, the Avenir line has been quite successful and is selling quickly. The Enclave and LaCrosse Avenirs are selling faster than other trim levels. Buick researchers have determined that buyers are demanding more premium midsize cars. To meet this need, the Buick Regal was outfitted with the Avenir trim level for 2019. Phil Brook, Vice President of Buick and GMC Marketing, said, "Buick customers value the exclusive styling, premium features and convenient experience Avenir provides, and we are excited to extend that successful formula to Regal."

Avenir Infotainment and Safety

The 2019 Buick Regal Avenir will feature world-class entertainment and safety. The infotainment system is Buick’s first cloud-connected system. Users will be able to access embedded apps and portable profiles that carry settings to other compatible vehicles. Voice recognition and navigation are standard features in the Avenir. Also standard are safety and driver-assist capabilities including rear park assist, rear cross traffic alert, lane-change alert with side blind zone alert, LED headlights with auto leveling, cornering lamps and driver-side auto-dimming mirrors. To enhance the safety options, advanced adaptive cruise control and other active safety technologies are available.

Exceptional Styling

Technology can help keep us safe and entertained, but Buick knows that aesthetics and styling are important for a premium trim package, too. The Avenir is available with an interior theme named Whisper Beige that features ebony accents, diamond quilt-stitched front seats, embroidered first-row headrests and sill plates carrying the Avenir script. If that’s not to your liking, you may like the ebony theme. Sporting a more elegant and dramatic exterior look, the Avenir has a 3-D mesh upper grille, script badging on the front doors and 19-inch Pearl Nickel wheels.

Power and Elegance

The Buick Regal supplies drivers with a standard 250-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 260 pound-feet of torque and mated with a nine-speed automatic. Surprisingly, this amount of power won’t break you when it’s time to fill up the tank. The Regal Avenir cruises along on the highway getting an impressive 32 mpg. City driving will net you 22 mpg.

Avenir History

In Detroit in 2015, Buick rolled out a four-door concept vehicle named Avenir. The reaction was so positive that Buick announced it would use the Avenir name starting in 2018 for their top-tier trim level.
